Parisian open-air booksellers apply for UNESCO status
"After baguettes and bistros, second-hand booksellers along the banks
of the Seine River in Paris are pushing to be recognised as one of the
world's cultural treasures on UNESCO's list of "intangible heritage". Calling
themselves "the biggest open-air bookshop in the world", the
"bouquinistes" and their dark green stalls have been a fixture of the
French capital since the 17th century."

Absolutely love this! I know this because I visited Paris last year and stumbled upon these bouquinistes while walking along the Seine, it felt like walking through a storybook! Their charm is so unique, they definitely deserve the UNESCO recognition. Reminds me of how timeless traditions can blend with modern needs, kind of like how I found Affordable Nursing Assignment Help when I was really struggling with my final term work – saved me big time! Hope both get the recognition they deserve.
