In Love with Parthenon bookcase

The first of a series of design pieces conceived to recall, through their shapes, the history of architecture starting from the layouts of the most famous buildings. With In Love with Parthenon the three-dimensional development of the temple plant, generates points of support and interlocking for books and magazines, turning architecture into bookcase.

Chuck bookshelf

Although it seems to be no more than a simple and flat shelf at first glance, Chuck in fact consists of six thin wooden boards which will bend easily according to all objects with their individual weights and sizes stored in it. Each board can be lifted and bent to create space for your personal and favorite objects and books.

Melting bookshelf

This bookshelf employs the ice melting shape in nature. When ice and snow fade away and frozen icicles begin thawing out gradually, the smell of spring is felt. Such scenery is displayed through the bookshelf, with books separated and fixed by hanging “icicles”. It seems that books come out from the descending snow and ice.

WWW bookshelf

In an accelerated era full of freedom of forms and the change as a status quo I am creating an object which itself has no definite state and which is capable of interacting with the user and his environment. “www” is an interpretation of the ‘shelf’ archetype. Between form and function, between space and dimension, between a not-yet and a not-anymore it creates concrete opportunities and specific associations. Through its parts it is not only a modular system, but also a type of installation in an ever changing space.

Brook is a contemporary coffee table-cum-book shelf inspired by the golden spiral and the need to organise scattered books in the waiting area of a small office. Its top is made up of ash veneered plywood for its accessibility, light weight and lack of movement, and its structure is made up of MS Flat and MS Square pipe. Also it is a cantilever structure, which makes the table more interesting and the MS Flat on the top adds to the beauty and continuity of the form.
