Modular Paint Chip Bookshelf

Considering the general form of a bookshelf the similarities to the common paint chip became obvious. Actual names of paints were used when naming the colors but were selected to create somewhat of a narrative. While the overall form is simple the details are the virtue of this piece. Designed to be easily movable the bookshelf breaks apart into easily stackable units. This makes it easy to move the shelf to a new location without having to unpack everything. It also allows the user to decide how tall the shelf is to suit their preference. A unique double-opposed half-lap joint locks the units perfectly into place and maintains the straightness of the vertical elements.
