This bookshelf employs the ice melting shape in nature. When ice and snow fade away and frozen icicles begin thawing out gradually, the smell of spring is felt. Such scenery is displayed through the bookshelf, with books separated and fixed by hanging “icicles”. It seems that books come out from the descending snow and ice.

Brook is a contemporary coffee table-cum-book shelf inspired by the golden spiral and the need to organise scattered books in the waiting area of a small office. Its top is made up of ash veneered plywood for its accessibility, light weight and lack of movement, and its structure is made up of MS Flat and MS Square pipe. Also it is a cantilever structure, which makes the table more interesting and the MS Flat on the top adds to the beauty and continuity of the form.

Inspired by one of the existing eco houses in Edmonton—a house that strives to reduce its environmental footprint by reclaiming or reusing materials (wood, metal, etc.), and by conserving energy and maintaining energy efficiency—a wall mounted bookshelf was designed to carry a message that is congruent with the message of the eco house. By its very existence, the eco house raises awareness of the environmental concerns that are closely tied to our daily activities. Similarly, the bookshelf also acts as a sign that warns and reminds the viewer about existing environmental concerns, particularly those associated with our consumption rate as compared to the availability of natural, raw materials. In particular, it serves to raise awareness about our paper consumption rate in comparison to the growth rate of the forests.

Designed for Bar Studio located in the monumental Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, made in 50's in communist Poland in the characteristic style of Social Realism. The idea was to provide multifunctional mobile space dividers to arrange space according to type of the event, add small scale "warm" interior elements. Each unit is made of rustic plywood laquered to honey hue, black wooden base and black steel elements. Its form resemble free standing shelf units popular in soviet era as functional dividers built in small flats.

A tribute to a deceased typographer who still lives in their works. This is my homage to John Baskerville, printer, publisher and typographer. The selected letter was the lowercase “g”, and it represents the book. It is built by the union of 56 layers of hand-cut paper. The box is cut on plywood, engraved with laser and works as the bookshelf.
